Okay, so it actually came out the 12th. Anyway, of COURSE I got it that exact day. And read it. I give it 5 STARS!!! Riordan, you really outdid yourself with this one:) so excited for the KC 2nd book in Spring and the 2nd Heroes of Olympus next fall!! * * * * *

Holy freakin crap. IT COMES OUT OCTOBER TWENTY-SECOND!! The new Camp Half-blood book!! And yes, Ally Star, I know you're probably as psyched as me. BUT-have you read the first two chapters?! I have:) Just go to www.percyjacksonbooks.com, scroll down, and click on the "Heroes of Olympus" symbol. "The Lost Hero" is the first book. Then you find the "read the first two chapters" thing pretty easily. If you don't, then I can't help you, only an eye doctor can. ANYWAY-I can't tell you anything if you haven't read it yet...BUT I AM FREAKING OUT!!!! Good thing my mom told me she'd try to pre-order it for me on Scholastic...otherwise I'd go crazy.

The KC

The Kane Chronicles is so awesome!! JUST as good as Percy Jackson, maybe even better...:)!! However...only the first book is out so we can't make it a fan blog yet!! GRR!! But, I guess we could use the Percy Jackson blog to update you on it untill the whole series is out! Anyway-about the Kane Chronicles-who do you like better, Carter or Sadie? For me it's Carter!
Oh-and I can't wait till the next Camp Half-blood series!

Okay, so you are TOTALLY paranoid if you don't think Logan Lerman is hot. He IS!! Oh my goshness, he is WAAAAAAAAAAAY hotter than Justin Bieber (no offense Ally Star! I know ya luv him lol)!!!! But seriously...Logan Lerman is like so CUTE!!!!! They picked the right Percy. He is one of the reasons Percy Jackson is the best movie ever made.

The Movie!

Well, I can't really beat what Chloe Kate said, but the movie is my fav too!!!! It beats Elf!! And yes, Grover was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was so funny! I laughed at practically everything he said!!!! There was alot of disapointments, (I especially missed the toilet incident... there was no Clarisse at ALL!) but it was definitely worth while! The thing that I didn't like the most was that Annabeth had brown, straight hair! She's supposed to have blonde, curly hair! What's up with that? But I loved her anyway! The way that she beat every boy in a sword fight was so funny (and when she destracted Percy and took his sword...)!!!! And Percy was just like I imagined him to be (except he had blue eyes instead of green). Well that's all I can say right now because I have to go!!! Bye

The Movie

OH MY GOSH!!!!!! I have a NEW FAVORITE MOVIE!
'The Lightning Thief' beats the Jimmy Stewart classic 'Harvey' by about a mile for me. And that, my friends, is saying A LOT. It was disappointing in the fact that there was no part where he's claimed at the Capture the Flag game as the son of Poseidon, there was no Mr. D, and no Clarisse with the toilet incident. And there was no scorpion incident at the end, no hellhound attacked him during the Capture the Flag game, instead of St. Louis it was Nashville, the furies didn't attack him on the bus, there were no dormitories at Yancy, and no Nancy Bobofit. A lot of disappointments, I know, but it really didn't matter. They really made up for it with Grover. Grover CRACKED me up!! They really captured the true Grover. It was the BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (oh and p.s. Ally Star won't be able to post for a few days because she's in Atlanta)

IT'S OUT!!

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE MOVIE IS ONLY 12 DAYS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me and Chloe Kate can't wait and we're already planning to go together!!!! Like Chloe Kate said, we'll be the first in line!!!!!! Every time I (and Chloe Kate) see the preview for the movie, we start hyperventilating and we zone out of everything happening around us. We just get sucked into the world of Percy Jackson, all his friends, and crazy Greek myths. PERCY JACKSON RULZ!!!!!!!!!!

Guess what! Percy Jackson the Movie is only 16 days away! That's right, I've been-a-countin'. And it's much closer than I though, because I thought it was on the 20th, but I was wrong. It's actually the 12th. Which I think is the PERFECT time, because on the tenth 6 Yellow is going on a field trip, and the 14th is Valentine's day. 4 days of fabulatastic awesomeness!!
Me and Ally Star are gonna be first in line, pushing everyone out of the way with a large pointy stick :) Force works!!

Percy Jackson and the Olympians - The Ultimate Guide

Hey peoples!!!!! Today I wanted to tell you about this awesome PJ book called, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians - The Ultimate Guide!!!!!!!!" It is rrrrreeeeaaalllllyyyyy cool!!!!! Well, one day Kelbug was at Books A Million and she texted me and told me about it. I got really excited! And I actually ended up going to Books A Million (a different one though) later that day!!!! So I was looking for it and........ I FOUND IT!!!!! And guess what's cool about that? It was the last copy in the store!!!!!! I finished it that night, and it was totally awesome. It tells you about myths of Ancient Greek monsters and gods and goddesses. And it had a BUNCH of other cool stuff, too! If you've read the whole series, you should check it out!!!! You have to read all of the books first or it'll spoil them. Well............... bye!!!!!

Athena

Since Ally Star told you about Apollo, I thought I might say a bit about Athena :)
Athena's the goddess of wisdom, battle, and the arts. She's my favorite because I guess I consider myself to be clever like her and I'm realllllly artsy. Athena is the goddess of BATTLE, not to be confused with Ares being the god of war. She focuses more on strategy. The Greek city Athens has a myth that it was name Athens because of a contest between Poseidon and Athena. Athena created the olive tree and I don't remember what Poseidon made; I think it was a fountain or something. Athena turned Medusa's hair to snakes and somebody named Arachne (something like that) to a spider. Athena was born in full armor from Zeus's head. Her sign is the owl and she had grey eyes and long black hair. In Percy Jackson, she had on hiking boots and just average everyday clothes.

Who is Apollo?

Ok, you guys might be wondering, "Who is Apollo?????" Well Apollo is the god of the prophecy, archery, music, medicine, plague, and light. His parents are Zeus, god of the sky and lord of the gods, and Leto, goddess of motherhood. Apollo is the half-brother of Dionysus, god of wine, and Artemis, goddess of the hunt and maidens is his twin. I like Apollo because I LOVE music, I've always thought archery was cool (I'm amazing at it on the Wii), and I've always thought that I have a pretty sunshiny personality (well, most of the time...). I think Apollo is really cool. In Percy Jackson, gods and goddesses can form however they want to. For example, Poseidon is usually a middle-aged man with black hair and sparkly green eyes, Hestia is disguised as a little girl about 7 years old, and Ares looks like a big, mean, tough man that looks like a truck driver. Well Apollo usually looks alot like just a regular teenager about 18 years old, with shining white teeth, sunglasses, and a red sports car. So those are some of the reasons why I like the god Apollo.

PJ Rating

I have changed my PJ rating!! The last one I had reread was "The Lightning Thief" and today I decided to reread the fourth one, "The Battle of the Labyrinth". The books GET BETTER!!! My rating? 10 STARS!! Even MORE than the usual rating.
You know, I really hope ya'll have more of a life than me...I'M OBSESSED!!
I'm counting down the days till February 20th, President's Day. I want to go the minute it comes out!! My dad AND my mom are starting the Lightning Thief. They are SO FANTASTICAL AND AMAZINGLY AWESOME AND HUMOROUS!!

Percy Jackson: Demigod Files

Hey bloggers!!!! It's Ally Star!!!! Today I got the book, "Percy Jackson: Demigod Files." I finished it today, too and it was really cool!!! It had 3 short (well, actually they weren't that short... more like a whole chapter size. :D) stories, a word search, a crossword puzzle, interviews with some of the characters, a map of Camp Half-Blood, profiles of some of the characters, a look at Annabeth's trunk that she takes to Camp Half-Blood every summer, and it lists some of the major gods and goddesses and like... what they can control and stuff (ex. Zeus: Lord of the Sky, Poseidon: God of the Seas, Apollo: God of Music, Medicines, Light, and Archery, and Athena: Goddess of Wisdom and Battle). It was really cool!!!! Well now I'm going to try and find this other Percy Jackson related book. I think it's called, "Demigod Monsters" or something like that. Well, that's all for now!!!! BYE!!!!!

Hey everyone!!!! It's Ally Star!!!! Well, since me and Chloe Kate LOOOVVEEE Percy Jackson, we decided to make a Percy Jackson blog!!!! Good idea, huh? The Percy Jackson series is soooooooooooooo amazing!!!! Chloe Kate got me hooked!!!! She was the first to read it. After she read it, she told me about it! I remember being in the library one day at school with her. We were both looking for a good book to read. Chloe Kate saw the Percy Jackson series on the shelf and pointed them out to me, "LOOK!!!! THERE'S PERCY JACKSON, THE BEST SERIES EVER!!!!!" On that comment, I decided to check them out. Once I read the first page I just had to keep going. Who knew one man could write five fantastic books full of so much mystery and action???? Let's just say I didn't! Once I finished the first book, I knew this series had a chance of being better than my former favorite series, Charlie Bone. Each Percy Jackson book is better than the one before it. Page after page, chapter after chapter, it was just sooooooo great!!!!!!! I couldn't put it down!!!!! It was a good thing that I was so interested in Greek mythology, too because I was reading Percy Jackson at the same time we were studying about Greece in social studies at school. That really got me paying attention in class. I always wanted to know more about Greece, and it's history. And I did! So that was definitely satisfying. I guess you could call me a Percy Jackson addict or a Greek Geek (that's actually what me and Chloe Kate have decided to call ourselves... more her than me though because she knows more than I do.)!!!!! I'm ok with either one... :) Well, I hope you take as much interest in Percy Jackson (and Greek mythology) as me and Chloe Kate do!!!!! And like Chloe Kate said in her post, EFCHARISTO (that's thank you in Greek... Chloe Kate told me that...) FOR CHECKIN US OUT!!!!! Well............ bye!!!!!!!!
